Good afternoon readers (or lack thereof), it's Andreas writing from the discomfort of my box-like room at the glorious Hughes Parry Hall.
This week, we have been bothering uni-folk department wide for donations and it has been somewhat successful. We have added about £150 to our target of £500, which we hope to increase if all goes well in the next few days. I mean come on, it's for charity!
If anyone actually reads these ramblings, it would be very nice if someone could reply with some suggestions of a game-plan/route to get as far from UCL as possible. Or if anyone knows a pilot/is a pilot that also would be super helpful...
As I stare at the map of the world I imagine is pinned to my wall and dream of all the countries we could end up in, I leave you with the immortal words of Mohandas Karamchand Ghandi:
'not another fucking charity fundraiser.'

This blog will be the naive attempt of Catti, Andreas and Adam to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital through UCLUs Jailbreak. If it's more successful than Vanessa Feltz's return to daytime TV, we will be happy.

Hello any possible readers!
If you could keep donating that'd be amazing! We're still not even CLOSE to half way which means we need any help we can get :)
If you do there's a really funny video and some adorable outtakes coming soon so its definitely worth your effort.
That and the warm fuzzy feeling you get inside after donating to charity means you should click the link on the right!

Who we are
I've noticed there are no photos of us so we could be random creepers.
We aren't. So here's some proof we exist and look fully trustworthy in this cause. Please don't let our looks put you off donating to this amazing charity!
Adam Greenwood. Looks dashing in a suit, right?
Andreas Sotiriou. Will take this challenge seriously, he promises
Catherine Morris. Pretends to be photogenic.

THE FIRST POST
Welcome to the dawning of a new era, a bright light in the murky sea of charity fundraising.
WE ARE CATTI AND THE MEDICS AND WE ARE GOING TO ROCK YOUR WORLD (in 36 hours and no money)
UCLU Jailbreak 2011 is an event where teams or 2-3 try to get as far away from the UCL quad as possible without spending any money on transport (and hopefully none on food, greedy little scabs that we are) in 36 hours.
We've been collecting sponsorship (donate here, as you can see, we're not so popular at the minute...) and all proceeds will be going to the Great Ormond Street Hospital which provides world class care for children and their families.
This will be our blog, where we post photos, videos and useless ramblings on how we're doing, our plans for where we're going and how much we've raised.
Thanks for reading (and donating if you're a good person),
Love Catti, Andreas and Adam xxx
